First time users

In the OIC you can use all microscopes available. The OIC offers free mandatory training sessions on request to instruct you on how to use our equipment.

New users are instructed in two sessions of three hours each.

In the first session for max four people the basic principles of optical imaging are explained. Moreover you will have hands-on experience operating the microscope.

The second part is an individual training session in which we help you to optimally use the microscope for your specific research questions. For this part you need to bring your own samples.
